Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how applications, tools, and services published by Yoshi Yamaguchi (“the developer”, “I”, “me”) collect, use, store, and share information, including data obtained through Google APIs via Google OAuth. It applies to every application that links to this page.

Information I access

When you sign in with your Google Account and grant permission, an application may access only the Google user data covered by the scopes shown on the Google consent screen. The application requests only the scopes that it needs for the features you use.

The application may also process basic account information (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) to identify your account.

How I use the information

I use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the application that you explicitly use. I do not use Google user data:

  • to serve advertisements, including personalized or retargeted ads;
  • to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes;
  • to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

I do not sell Google user data, and I do not let humans read it, except in these cases:

  • you give your explicit consent for specific data;
  • it is necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse;
  • it is necessary to comply with applicable law;
  • the data is aggregated and anonymized and is used for internal operations.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app by these applications adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored only where the application needs them to work, such as on your own device or in storage that only the application can access. I use reasonable measures, such as encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), to protect data against unauthorized access.

I keep data only for as long as necessary to provide the features that you use.

Sharing

I do not share Google user data with third parties, except in these cases:

  • it is necessary to provide the features that you request;
  • it is necessary to comply with applicable law or a legal process;
  • it is part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

Your choices and data deletion

You can revoke the access of an application to your Google Account at any time from Google Account permissions. To ask me to delete data that is related to your account, contact me at the email address below. I delete the data within a reasonable period.

Changes to this policy

I can update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I update the effective date at the top of this page.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of applications, tools, and services published by Yoshi Yamaguchi (“the application”). When you use the application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

Use of the application

You can use the application only in compliance with these Terms, the applicable laws, and the terms of any third-party service that the application connects to, such as the Google Terms of Service. You must not use the application to do these things:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of other people;
  • get unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
  • disrupt or overload the application or the services it connects to.

Your account and data

You are responsible for the Google Account and the other accounts that you connect to the application, and for the activity under them. You keep all rights to your data. The application handles your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not guarantee that the application is error-free, secure, or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent that the applicable law permits, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, that results from your use of the application or your inability to use it.

Changes and termination

I can change, suspend, or stop the application at any time. I can also update these Terms. When I do, I update the effective date at the top of this page. If you continue to use the application after a change, you accept the updated Terms. You can stop using the application and revoke its access at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction of first instance over any dispute that is related to these Terms.
